Dr. Paula Bullock-Owner/Operator
Dr. Paula Bullock is the owner/operator of Affordable Animal Care. She started this clinic with the hope of helping those that would not typically be able to afford vet care for the four legged loves of their lives. Dr. Bullock is very passionate about the care of all four legged creatures! She has over 20 years experience as a practicing veterinary and is a graduate of North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Heather Moeser-Veterinarian
Dr. Moeser is one of our part-time Veterinarians; she is a graduate of North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Moeser is an excellent surgeon and is very compassionate and understanding about the worry owners feel for their pets when they are having surgery or when they come in sick and will do whatever she can to ease the fear and make sure that all animals are well taken care of. When Dr. Moeser is not here taking care of your four legged friends she can be found at home with her husband and their two beautiful children.

Devan Williams-Office Manager
Devan has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Special Education. Devan has over 10 years of customer service experience and very much values customer service in the work place. If you have any questions or concerns about Affordable Animal Care please feel free to speak to her directly. When Devan is not greeting you with a smile or answering your questions over the phone, she can be found at home with her husband and their beautiful four-legged daughter June.
Yuliya Dzemichava- Head Vet Technician
Yuliya is our head vet technician and head surgical technician. She is very passionate about the well-being of all of the four-legged creatures and makes sure that all are in good care while in our facility. We are very proud to have her as a part of our family. Yuliya is originally from Belarus and speaks four languages! She graduated from Minsk State Linguistic University and holds a Bachelors Degree in both Linguistics and Education. Yuliya shares her life with a big Lynx cat named Lovrick.
Stephanie Coakley- Receptionist
Stephanie is a member of our service team. She has a Bachelors Degree in Communication, with dual concentrations in Public Relations and Interpersonal/Organizational Communication. Stephanie is very passionate about animals, and she will do all that she can to help you to take care of yours. At the end of the day, Stephanie heads home to spend time with her two English Setters, Maggie and Bailey.
Melissa Slaughter- Veterinarian Technician Assistant/Receptionist
Melissa is both a member of our client service team and a veterinarian technician assistant. Melissa is very passionate about the care of all four legged creatures and is willing to help you both over the phone and in person! Melissa is a jack of all trades and can be found all over the clinic and always with a smile on her face! At the end of the day Melissa heads home to her boyfriend and their four legged friends!!
Vickie Wheeler-George's Place Animal Sanctuary Administrative Manager
Vickie has worked with George's Place Animal Sanctuary since it was created. She is the contact person for any administrative needs. If you are interested in setting up transports, vaccination clinics, volunteering or making a donation, she will be glad to assist you in any way possible.
