Pre-Op Instructions

    You must have an appointment. Please call (919) 620-7729 to

    schedule your pet for surgery. All pets will need to be current

    on vaccines or will be updated upon presentation. It is recommended

    that all adult animals have food withdrawn the night before surgery

    at 12:00 midnight. Pets must be kept indoors or confined.

    Animals 4 months or younger may have food until 6:00 AM the

    morning of surgery. Check-in time is between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM.

    Your pet will not be admitted before 7:00 AM. Please leave your animal

    in the car until you have completed all of the required paperwork.

    A technician will advise you when to retrieve your pet.

    You must complete the necessary admission form when you arrive.

    You may stop by the clinic prior to your pets' scheduled

    surgery day and pick up the paperwork to save time the

    morning of your appointment. Admission typically

    takes 10 minutes to complete. We require that you abide by NC state law

    and have a current rabies vaccination for your pet. If your pet does

    not have a rabies vaccine, we will administer it at the time

    of surgery for a charge of $12.00. If your pet does have a rabies vaccine,

    please bring your certificate. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats

    must be in a carrier. We only accept cash. You must pay for services

    at the time of check-in. Any pets found to have external parasites such

    as fleas or ticks will be treated at the owner"s expense.
